This stylish, representative finca with established vineyard in a quiet location in one of the best-known towns in Mallorca (Binissalem), 20 minutes from the capital Palma. Particularly well-known for its fertile farmland, this is ideal for a vineyard. The main house is approximately 500 m² and has been completely renovated with great style and harmony, featuring two living rooms used as a breakfast room and reception, 6 en-suite bedrooms, hallway, offices — set up as a country hotel. The outdoor facilities are very well maintained with a pool and lawn areas, as well as various tree species. To the right and left of the finca, you can see the vineyard, which specialises particularly in white wine quality but also produces red wine. There are currently approximately 17 hectares of planted land with its own well supplying approximately 40,000 litres of water daily. In total, the property has a plot size of 21 hectares, with 17 hectares planted with various grape varieties, 75% white. Grape varieties: Parellada, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, white Mallorcan pressing and two red wines, to blend with Cavas, Pinot Noir and Mallorcan Callet. History and Culture of Binissalem Wine has been grown in Mallorca since 121 BC, the Roman occupation. Binissalem was one of the first places where viticulture was practised, and the quality of Mallorcan wines was so well known that they were even mentioned by the famous philosopher and scholar Pliny the Elder. The moderate Moors survived the occupation of wine production, but in the 19th century Binissalem responded by planting almond trees and exporting agricultural equipment to countries such as France; winemaking was resumed at the end of the 19th century, and Binissalem was the first wine-growing area to be awarded the designation of origin in 1991. Together with neighbouring towns such as Santa María, Santa Eugenia and Alaró, Binissalem is today considered the centre of Mallorcan wine production.
